Morning Class: Jivamukti Yoga Open Class - hip opener
September 1, 2026 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
ShalaLed by David
Location: Shala
In yoga theory, the hips are viewed as a physical and energetic center that links the upper and lower body, balances mobility and stability, and stores emotional stress. The hips are tied to the second energy center (Svādhiṣṭhāna Chakra, or "where your being is established"), which rules emotions, creativity, and flow. This Jivamukti open class focuses on familiar and also less familiar hip-opening postures. Opening this chakra is said to boost creativity, manifest desire and confidence. Great for all levels, but prepare to be challenged! -
